Avika Pasari is a Grade 11 student from Kolkata who uses her background in history, the performing arts, and community service to speak out for groups that have been left out. As an active volunteer with the Interact Visionaries Club (Rotary International), she regularly organizes local social service drives, such as 'Help Us Help Them' mobile school first-aid deployments, localized clean-up efforts, and Diwali distributions. Along with her work as a volunteer, Avika is also a very good actress. She has a LAMDA Grade 6 certificate with distinction and has won first place in inter-house theater competitions. In addition to being creative, she is an involved member of the Heritage, Nature, Debating, and Psychology clubs at her school. Through Be:long, she wants to use her skills in public speaking, understanding others, and researching the past to give displaced women a voice and raise awareness about structural issues across generations.
